Mary Meyers – Director
Mary is the Preschool Director and has been at KUM since 1994. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and began her teaching career as a French teacher. Teaching preschoolers and then becoming the director at KUM has been her professional life for 27 years. She loves being with her family and sharing time with grandchildren. She is also an avid gardener- never getting enough of the outdoors!
Kristi Urbeck – Office Manager
Kristi began teaching at KUM in 2001, and became Office Manager in 2010. She has an Associates Degree in Early Education and has taught pre-K since 1989. Kristi was born and raised in St. Louis and has enjoyed fostering children’s development since graduating high school. She lives in Manchester with her husband and two children.
Ellyn has been teaching at KUM since 1993 and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She likes to travel, walk and read.
Jane has been at KUM since 1988 and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. She is married and has three children. Jane enjoys reading and spending time at her lake house.
Linda has been at KUM since 1997 and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She is married, has three kids and loves spending time with her granddaughter.
Tricia has been at KUM since 2001 and is a lunch bunch instructor. She has a Bachelor Degree in Public Relations from Southeast Missouri State University. Tricia is married and has 3 wonderful children. She loves to cook, be outside and craft.
Joyce has been teaching at KUM since 1989 and has a degree from Fontbonne University. She has two daughters, a son and four grandchildren – two, which have attended KUM preschool! Joyce has a passion for young children and gardening.
Julia has been teaching at KUM since 2010 as the Music instructor. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Therapy from University of Kansas. Julia has been teaching private piano lessons since 1995 and loves cooking, water sports and kids.
Mary has been teaching at KUM since 2000 as the Movement Instructor. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood from Louisiana State University. Mary is married and has three children and loves teaching Movement because exercising is her favorite hobby.
Jenny has been at KUM since 2004 and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Butler University with an emphasis in Kindergarten. She previously taught in the Parkway School District. Jenny enjoys running, gardening and playing soccer with her family.
Jill has been teaching at KUM since 2006. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Performance Arts and Communication Disorders and a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology. She is married and has three kids. Jill is involved in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts and likes to cook and sew.
Pam has been teaching at KUM since 1995 and has a Master’s Degree in Teaching from Webster University. She is married and has 3 children and likes to hike, camp and play tennis.
Peggy has been teaching at KUM since 1996 and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She also has a lifetime teaching certificate: K-8 and 6 hours of graduate studies in Special Education. Peggy is married and has 3 wonderful sons.
Kathy has been at KUM since 2000 as an assistant teacher. She has two daughters and loves to garden.
Carrie has been at KUM since 1996 and is the Ateiler (art) instructor. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education and Elementary Education from University of Missouri-St. Louis. She is married and has four sons. Carrie loves painting, photography, walking, gardening and her golden retrievers.
Diana has been teaching at KUM since 2004 as the Spanish instructor. She attended college in Mexico at Universidad Auto’nomo de Tamaulipas. Diana lives in Ballwin with her husband and two children. She loves teaching children her native language.
